Its me!

I know I know, I said I wouldn't wait this long to blog again, but I have been so swamped, well that isn't totally true. I have sat down to blog many times, I just don't have the energy. I am not sure what to write. So I will give you the short version of what has been going on in our lives.

The kids and I are still here alone, but it hasn't been bad. I have been hanging out with my neighbor most nights and it makes the days not seem so long. She has been great, I wish that we had become friends sooner. I hate that I have now made this great friend and now I am moving. She is so great. She has 2 kids and for the most part our kids get along.

The kids are doing well, H is counting down the days until school is out, and then she will get to move to TX, she is excited. L has been saying everyday that she misses her grandma, so she is equally excited about moving. Now if I could just get ready. I am slowly getting packed, and I hope it will be done by next week. Hubby will be here a week from Saturday, and then we will leave the following Tuesday.

My birthday is Sat. although it doesn't seem like such a great one without hubby here. My friends are taking me out to dinner tomorrow night, and then my neighbors husbands birthday is also Sat. so they are having a party so it will be fine. My grandpa sent me some money and I bought me a new camera. It is a Nikon D40 and I LOVE it! I am so excited!

I took L and G to get their pictures made on Tuesday with the Backyardagins, and I took lots of pictures with me new camera.

Anyway there are lots of stories I could share including some curious George stories, but I am tired and off to bed. But here are a few pictures with the new camera!
