Sometimes people don't realize

Sometimes people don't realize how insensitive they are, or maybe I am too sensitive. I bought four tickets the day they went on sale here for the New Moon premier, I was so excited. I bought a ticket for me, my friend Jenni, my friend Kathryn, and my friend Mara (it would premier on her bday). SO last night as the time approached for the movie, I get a text from Mara while I am at work that she wont be able to make it, she has had a little too much bday fun. I will admit, I was a little upset, but I understood, after all it is her bday. So I knew that another girl I worked with wanted to go, so I offered the ticket to her, she was excited to have it and immediately said yes. SO Kathryn and I were at work along with Nicole the other girl I invited and we didn't get off till 9:15, the plan was to go straight from work to get in line so we would have good seats for the show. Jenni got in line about 8:30 and waited it out all alone until we could get there almost an hour later. Gotta love her! Well Nicole is a manager at work, so it took her a little longer than Kathryn and I to get off, but she wanted to have a drink before getting in line, I was fine with this since we were in line between On The Border and Buffalo Wild Wings. So Kathryn and Nicole went off to get a drink I just asked that they get me some food since I hadn't eaten since breakfast. So off to On The Border they went. Nearly an hour later, I sent a text message asking if they remembered I was hungry and hadn't eaten. They finally show up with my food but On The Border had closed so they were going to go to BWW and have a drink, they asked we let them know when we were starting to go in. So at 15 minutes till I sent them a message telling them 15 minutes till we go in. Nothing at four minutes till I sent them another to which Kathryn says she will come get the tickets. She does, at this point I was beyond frustrated by the fact that Jenni and were waiting in line, and they had been off drinking the whole time. When we get in to the theatre we are told we cant save seats so I let them know and Kathryn tells me they are on their way, well at that point it was full in out theatre, so no way they were even going to sit in the same theatre as us. They did end up watching the movie, but not with us. Maybe I am wrong, but I had this night planned for over a month, Jenni and I were so excited and they seemed ungreatful that I bought the tickets and Jenni and I stood in line for three hours to get in. I am not sure why this is hurtful to me but it is. Now I don't expect that everyone will be obsessed with the twilight saga as I am, but they knew the plan going in. I guess it seems to me that when you make a plan like this with someone that is supposed to be a friend you stick to it. Am I totally off base here? Jenni was so greatful, said thank you and I love her! Kathryn and Nicole on the other hand nothing! I don't get it. Anyway that is my rant for the night.
